We were very impressed by our brave girl who not only decided she wanted to try out for a part of a local play but walked up onto the stage alone and sang a solo of "You Are My Sunshine" in order to be cast. Aliya did a wonderful job of playing a munchkin/city father in the Wizard of Oz. It was so much fun to watch her learn all her words and dances and then to have her succeed at four performances! The musical was a lot of work yet Aliya is still very excited to try out for her next play.
