There are times whereas parents we really don't know how we ended up doing what it is that we are doing but it happens when you live with kids. Kids enjoy very weird things and we have to admit that their laughter and giggles entertain us as well.

He is always picture perfect and makes me a bit jealous of his lazy days.

The kiddos had their Memorial Day presentation at the school today.  It is one of my favorite performances that they do during the school year. I love hearing all their voices all singing together. Trent had a speaking role this year and he did great!

Aliya was away at Girl Scout camp so Nate and I got to spend some time alone with our boys.  Being a mom of boys has taught me so much.  They make me laugh and make me see life through a simpler more exciting lens.

This is Aliya's dream home and I think it is just perfect!

The way siblings teach about friendship, love, and life, in general, fills my heart with joy.  They argue, they talk, they apologize, the forgive and they move forward. They are love and they teach each other life lessons every day without ever knowing it.

Aliya didn't want to get up this morning because she was in the middle of a good book.  I can't think of a better reason to stay in bed a few extra minutes.

Aliya was excited to have the opportunity to dance at a Fisher Cat baseball game.  The dancers all had a blast and didn't mind one bit that they were dancing in the rain.  It was so much fun to watch and a great and memorable experience for everyone involved.
