I have been thinking a lot recently about how some friendships are made for just a chapter of your life. While you may care for the person for a lifetime their friendship was there for a moment...given to help make you stronger, bring you joy or help you through a difficult time of your life. Their friendship, although in the past, was extremely significant in that time and helps shape your story and who you are.
However, we are all blessed with a few friendships that see us through a lifetime of storms and the sunshine, moves and changes, good and bad decisions, and laughter and tears. The friends you don't need to call every day but the second you talk it is as if no time has passed between you. The friends that celebrate your joys and sorrows as if they are their own. The friends that love you so deeply that they are family. The friends that are written into every chapter of your life. This sweet lady is one of those special friends and I am so blessed to have had her friendship for over 20 years.
