When we first were looking for a home Nate and I knew that we needed something with an open floor plan because no matter what we all seemed to always be in the same space. So while 99% of our time is spent all together downstairs in our very open living room and kitchen our kids do have their own rooms which are becoming more and more a reflection of their personalities. The boys room is filled with Minecraft, comic books, dinosaurs band posters, Star Wars, Super Hero's and creations that they have made while Aliya's room has animals, dolls, crafts, music and every fun color you can think of. It is fun to see them happy in their own spaces or watch as new posters go up and others come down. I love for them to have a spot that shows many of the things they love and care for at this stage of life.
