Everyone tells Aliya that she looks like me. I think she hears it so much that she must get sick of it, honestly. However, as much as our appearance may be similar, her personality is a lot like her Dad's. The two of them have similar interests and responses to situations. It makes me happy to see them connect over interests and as much as Aliya is her own person, it is nice to know that her bond with her Dad is so strong and I hope that their friendship continues to grow over the years,
