I read these wise words recently and I can not get over the truth that they tell.  "If you are to busy to give quality time to those you love, then you need to re-evaluate your priorities."

I had a date night with my sweet boy this weekend. He cooked me homemade French fries, chicken tenders (with his special seasoning), and cheese biscuits. He even got adventures and made buffalo ranch dip and Chic-fil-a sauce.  We had a blast and ate so much yummy food! Love my chef in the making.

My little lady has had a bad week. Her pet died, she had a stomach bug, her homework was frustrating...but this morning she woke up with a smile on her face.  Aliya is so good at reminding me that life as a whole is amazing even when there are bumps in the road.

Kids are the best kind of people.
