We could tell that we were having a visitor outside our home. We thought maybe it was a chipmunk, racoon, opposum. We were wrong we had a bear! Nate walked out of the house and nearly hit the back of the bear with the door. He climbed up our tree and Nate and I watched him as he went into the woods and down through our backyard. We decided to name him Boo Boo, afterall he was probably just coming to visit our Yogi Bear. He came back a few more times and the kids really wanted to see him (but never did). Aliya came up with a plan for someone to stand watch at all times. The boys got bored with the game quickly, but Aliya was dilligent in her desire to see a bear and notified us of every momevent she saw. Maybe one day she will see a bear, but in the meantime she did see a whole bunch of chipmunks, squirrels and birds and seemed perfectly happy with her view.
