Aliya had long beautiful hair. It was fun to braid and play with, but all summer she begged for a haircut. We made her wait a bit in order to be certain she wouldn't have a change on heart and we would be stuck waiting two years for her hair to grow back, but she was determined. So right before school started she got her haircut and magically my kindergartner turned into a big first grader. I'm not sure how it happened, but she just seems so grown up all the sudden. She loves her new look and we couldn't be anymore happy seeing this beautiful girl smile every time she looks in the mirror.
I love the new hair cut and the missing tooth. No questions we have a beautiful first grader on our hands.
