Aliya is beyond in love with the movie frozen. She sings the songs all day long and pretends to be Elsa every chance that she gets. So it came as no surprise when she decided to have a Frozen themed birthday party. We decorated the house with snow flakes, frosted windows, fake snow, white lights and glitter until the house looked like a winter wonderland.
Nate's favorite part was the water for our guests, that happened to look like a melted snowman.
The kids played many games including pin the carrot on Olaf, freeze dance, snowball toss, "Do you want to find a snowman" (a hide and seek Olaf game), and a scavenger hunt where every clue was a song lyric from the movie (for example love is an open_____). The games were a hit, but Aliya's favorite part was her new Elsa dress, crown and shoes.
She danced and twirled in it all day and did not even want to take it off for bedtime.
The girls got to put spray glitter in their hair that made them look extra princess like. Then, everyone made a scarf to keep them warm in our "Frozen" home.
Aliya is a huge fan of punch (she likes it even more then she likes birthday cake) so I was sure to make her up an extra special "Frozen" drink.
It was a perfect party for a perfect girl who we love to the moon and back.
Happy 7th Birthday Princess.
We love you more than words can ever say
