Aliya has always loved birthdays. She loves planning out every single detail and counting down the day until it finally arrives. We knew Aliya would have big dreams for her 13th birthday, and we also knew that a lot of options were not available because of Covid. Aliya had a great attitude about scaling back her birthday plans and after talking with her close friends' parents we agreed that a sleepover would work if it was just the three of them. The girls enjoyed painting nails for hours, eating fondue, and playing Fortnite. They had a great time together and even got extra time as a snowstorm was coming so the girls came over extra early, so they could get snowed in together and nothing would cancel their plans! There were hours of laughter and fun and our sweet girl loved her special day!
