Summer is all about forgetting the schedule, letting sand get on the floor and the chore list goes to the wayside. There is such joy in giving the kids more time for adventure and less time for responsibilities. We have had so much fun already this summer just waking up and letting the day take us where it does. I am happy that the kids are 100% back to normal life with friends over, dinner out, and going to the movies and other activities once again. Summer days are long and I can't help but feel this is a gift to us...when something is so good you want to make it last just as long as you can.
