On Monday we spent the whole day at the camp and the entire time we were smiling. Most of the day was spent swimming, chatting, and on boat rides. It was wonderful to get some time with my sister and her family while we soaked up the sun. Dylan spent every minute in the water and is becoming an excellent swimmer. Trent and Aliya also loved to swim but whenever someone offered a boat ride they ran to grab their life jackets and couldn't wait to get in.
Nate and I took rides on the saucer and did our best to stand up. This was a big deal for Nate. He had never been in the middle of a lake, never mind had to trust a life jacket to work while he got pulled behind a boat. He was a trooper and after the initial surprise of what it felt like, he had a great time! We could have stayed out there all day! It was so fun for me to once again be back in the lake playing and I was so happy that Nate enjoyed it! 
It was everything summer should be wrap into nine wonderful hours.
