With three kiddos our schedule is busy, very busy, extremely busy even. We are often running from one event to the next and trying to squeeze in homework, family time, dinner, and "oh don't forget to brush your teeth"! It gets a little crazy, but we love it. The kids enjoy their activities and school, so we really do not want it any other way. Because of our busy schedules, I am always trying to make the most of our free time. Instead of just all sitting down in front of a TV show, we try and find something fun and memorable to do together. The other day we had two hours before we needed to be headed onto our next thing, so we stopped at a park. The kids laughed, ran, climbed and had a great time. My favorite part was playing with them! Having Trent beg me to spin him just one more time, Dylan ask if I could help him learn to cross the spinning log and Aliya skip with me around the big oak tree made me so full of joy. It was a wonderful moment together, even if it was brief. The most important thing I have ever learned from parenting, is to enjoy each and every moment...for everyone is a blessing.
