A Relaxing Christmas

We had a very relaxed Christmas this year filled with very little to do.  Nate took four days off and we spent three of them cuddled up together at home with the fire glowing and counters filled with yummy treats.  We played games, made puzzles, laughed and talked with no care of how much time had passed.  It was the best gift we could have given our family.  The need for slow days seems to be harder and harder to meet as the kids grow and our craving for them seems to be growing stronger and stronger.  Having the opportunity to spend time together doing whatever we pleased was absolutely glorious.  There was a snow storm on Christmas Day that was beautiful and since we had nowhere to go we really could sit back and just say "Let It Snow".

And I can't forget to mention that one of the kids favorite parts of Christmas was wearing PJs all day long.
