The end of summer is coming and we are feeling it in a very large way. After having the kids home for so long it will be so strange to have them go back to school. We know it may be temporary but we are already starting to feel the loss of all this amazing family time we have been given over the last year. To make sure that summer doesn't pass us to quickly we decided to do a summer countdown and make the most of every day. We have done the simple things that matter most in the summer like roasting marshmallows, car cruises, the drive-in, and ice cream but making an event of it each day seems so special. I am so thankful for this past year, as strange as it has been. We have all grown so close together as we have faced the hardships of this year and become even more of each other's friends with the time we have spent together. Unlike Chrismas countdown, I am less excited for the end result of this one but still am thankful for the reminder to enjoy each moment.
Our Latest Stories
The things we remember are what we hold on to. And what we hold on to becomes the story of our lives.
