Summer has an end that seems so clear. One day it is here and the next day it is gone. Despite the fact that the weather may or may not stay warm and the calendar may say that fall doesn't start for a few more days, our summer has come to an end. For me, summer ends the day that free careless days are no more and schedules and responsibilities kick back in. We try to really make the last few days special and soak in not only the sunshine but that relaxed carefree feeling for every second that we can. This summer we ended the last few days with lemonade, water balloon fights, and family games in the yard. We said our farewell to summer at our lake as we watched the sunset on a summer that goes in the books as one of the greatest in many ways. While the kids really missed there time with friends this summer it was a very special time for our family to get so much time together. I will never forget these past few months of watching our kids' friendships get even stronger and the way we made time to hang out and play so many games together.
Pictionary is one of my favorite games that keeps the whole family laughing!
