Our "vacation"

Nate some time off work this last week so we could work on some projects at home. Here is what we were able to accomplish.

The outside of our home was is desparte need of landscaping.

Before

After. While it still looks sparse right now, we bought plants that will be growing quite large and needed to leave room for their growth. We are really happy with how it turned out and love our bench to watch the sunrise together.

Nate and I also worked on Aliya's room and painting the kitchen and living room. (The pictures don't show the color of the kitchen very well.) We are not done the living room (but you can see the coffee color in the kitchen pictures), we still have work to do in Aliya's room, and we are now in need of buying some cream and brown decorations for the kitchen, but we are one step closer to our projects being complete. We like being able to look around and see our house as our home and doing home projects has made that even more of a reality.
