Creepy Critters

The kids and I went to a Critters and Creatures presentation at the local library.  They learned all about nocturnal animals and got to see bats, legless lizards, chinchillas, scorpions and many other animals.  They had a great time and the highlight (for them, but not me) was being able to pet the Ball Python.  I promised the boys that I would touch it and was told I was a super mom for doing it.  I enjoyed having my super hero status in the eyes of  my children, but I am hoping next time it takes something a little less creepy to earn it!
