Everyone needs a spot where they feel happiest. This little spot right here is my very favorite place in our home. It is where the sun shines in and melts any troubles away and I feel so cozy relaxing in my chair. This is my place to read a book, put my feet by the fire place, or have coffee with Nate and talk. No matter the reason I can go to my spot and I am instantly relaxed. When I was young my mom's favorite place was her rocking chair. Even as children we knew it and we could see in her eyes that she just relaxed when she was in that spot as she sat and talked to us about our day. I love making our home have little spaces for each person. Right now Aliya is in love with cuddling up in a tiny little spot underneath our staircase that has pillows and we even let her put up stickers on the walls to decorate as she pleases. I want our home to be a place where we long to go and a place that brings us relaxation and comfort no matter what else is going on in life. I always want for our home to be our families happy place, in all situations, and I really do believe that home is less of a place and more of a feeling that we get when we are there.
