The Monday before April vacation the kids had a delayed start of school because of snow and ice. It has been a crazy winter it seemed never-ending. There were moments where it just seemed like the cold would never go away. Luckily the first day of April vacation was absolutely gorgeous and it continued that way all week long with blue skies and birds singing. It was as if Mother Nature knew that it was the perfect time for spring to arrive. We spent every moment of vacation outside playing and enjoying the gorgeous weather. Soaking in the sun was absolutely uplifting and rejuvenating to our hearts and minds. Now that vacation is done all we can do is count down the days until summer arrives and when we can enjoy more family time relaxing underneath the blue skies. |
| Aliya and I went for a walk nearly every day. We walked to the tea room, the lake, the park and even went to see all the memorials around our town. I love that our small community offers so many great treasures to enjoy. |
