We had a wonderful Christmas together as a family and while it was postponed by sickness, the date on the calendar did not matter at all, because when we all came together it was unquestionably Christmas Day.
I think this picture might be the best representation of our Christmas this year. Noise and happiness overflowed my mom's kitchen and the realization that little kids were now big kids was undeniable. Everyone hung around the island and the laughter and chatting were as endless as the food.
I always love seeing the kids spending time together and watching them enjoy their friendships with their cousins. It is one of the biggest joys of living so close together.
