Jen's family had covid so we needed to postpone our Ricard family Christmas party this year. We moved it to December 31st and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Breakfast together. Everyone enjoyed tons of yummy food, gifts, and family time. We then went home for a short bit before getting ready to head out for New Year's eve. Nate and I enjoyed our tradition of going out with Sheryl and Pete, and this year Kristin and Jeff, for dinner and a show. It was so much fun! My brave parents managed to have not only a Christmas party but also a New Year's Eve party, for the grandkids all in one day. It makes me so happy that the kids still love attending their parties with my Mom and Dad. What once started as a nice gesture for my parents to babysit the kids, while the adults hung out for New Year's, has become a tradition that even the college kids still look forward to.
