This winter has had the slowest start. We have had warm days where it has felt much more like spring than winter. However, once the snow finally started we got the most beautiful storm. We have had snow on the trees for days, and despite having no power for about 8 hrs, we have absolutely loved the beauty that surrounds us. The kids and I played truth or dare and asked what is your favorite/dream/etc _______ questions by candlelight for hours last night and when the power finally came back on Dylan said..."let's not turn on the lights yet, I want to finish this round" so we just say there under our blankets talking for a little while longer. Snowstorms are a great excuse to slow down, do less, and just enjoy the time with those you are snowed in with.
