We are getting so close to the first day of school and we are trying to squeeze some fun out of these last carefree days. Taking the kids to the river is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a few moments outside with them in the middle of all the haircuts, shoe shopping, dentist appointments and buying of school supplies. Our summer seemed to go by so fast and I feel like the door is slamming shut on summer and I am just not ready to say goodbye quite yet. The summer of 2017 was the summer of lazy home days. cooler weather, visits from family and friends. It was the summer we made slime, watched movies and laughed over as many Studio C videos as we could watch. This summer was filled with dinners on the grill, swimming at the lake, family MarioKart races, and the summer of barely any set bedtime or reasons to get up early. In every, way this summer was relaxed and filled with days at home with those who we love most and it just doesn't get any more special than that.
