This summer is a very different one than we are used to. While things are starting to open up we are still primarily at home. While we can't give our kids our usual evening trips to the lake to look forward too we decided they still needed something in their evening. We let each kid pick a night that is "their night". They get to pick a family activity. The rule is everyone joins in and we do whatever it is as a family and no complaints! The kids are happy to do whatever is picked knowing they will choose another day soon. So far we have done everything from car ride cruise, Rock Band, Bears vs Babies, classic Mario Brothers, and much more. It has been a really fun way to give the kids some control and something to look forward to in their week.
I haven't taken many photos because I have just been enjoying the moment and having a blast with the family.
