We had a wonderful February vacation together. We were lucky that Nate was able to take the time off with the kids so we could have time together as a family. We did a mixture of fun activities out and relax time at home which made everyone happy.
We were, unfortunately, sick at the begging of the week but managed to still do plenty despite going through box after box of tissues. Some of the highlights were that we went shopping at the mall, had special dinners that each kid got to pick, watched movies, went out for special treats like shamrock shakes and pretzels, had sleepover with cousins, tried the new restaurant in town (The Alamo, which everyone enjoyed), went ice skating and went to a trampoline park together and we also spent a whole bunch of time at home relaxing together.
The time went by too fast even with a bonus of a snow day on Monday. I am so thankful we had time to refresh before going into a few more months of school and work. We are greatly looking forward to spring and anxious for our next vacation in April.

| Aliya and I went on a walk on our frozen lake. She had fun standing on top of where she normally swims in the summer and the fresh cold air felt great in our lungs. |
